OVERVIEW

The oil, gas and petrochemical sectors heavily rely on capital investments, making it crucial to maintain optimal performance levels to ensure profitability. With this context, asset integrity and process safety are closely intertwined and hold significant importance as they proactively anticipate and prevent incidents, while recommending appropriate action plans for optimal performance. Ensuring the safe and smooth operation of oil, gas and petrochemical facilities and installations, ranging from oil fields and offshore platforms to pipelines and refineries, is of paramount importance.

The Asset Integrity and Process Safety Conference & Exhibition serves as a prominent platform in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing together leading experts and stakeholders to discuss industry trends, challenges, and the latest solutions in key areas such as corrosion control, predictive and preventive maintenance, hazard and operability study (HAZOP), risk-based inspection (RBI), and digital transformation for process safety and asset integrity. There will be more emphasis in this edition on piping, above ground, buried and FRP.

The upcoming 3rd Asset Integrity and Process Safety Conference & Exhibition taking place in May 2025  in  Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will focus on addressing the key issues of asset life extension and optimization of maintenance strategies to ensure you improve the integrity and reliability of your assets while maintaining production capability and reducing operational cost. The conference will provide an effective platform for Asset Integrity, Process Safety, Pipeline, Reliability, Inspection, NDT & NDE, Corrosion Control, HAZOP, Operations and Maintenance professionals to interact, share knowledge, and exchange best practices to effectively manage assets and showcase the latest technological advancements to tackle faced challenges.

2024 EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

WELCOME MESSAGE FROM THE

CONFERENCE CHAIRMAN

On behalf of the Asset Integrity and Process Safety Conference and Exhibition 2023 organizing committee, we welcome you in Jubail Industrial City.

As petrochemical assets age, they require special attention to maintain their mechanical integrity. This could be achieved by applying industry tried and tested solutions as well as by abiding with international codes and standards. The theme for AIPS 2023 is “Advanced strategies and technologies to optimize production”. It is intended to address chronic issues related to asset integrity and process safety and its associated challenges to improve asset reliability and prevent unplanned shutdowns.

The conference is designed to bring all practical experience in all aspects of asset integrity and process safety under one roof to create and facilitate discussion forums. The forums will cover issues that have become major threat on the integrity and operation of plant equipment in metallic and nonmetallic assets. A key drive for this conference is updating industrial technical knowledge among local professionals, industrial experts, scientists and academia, to ensure the delivery of state-of-art technologies, best practices and services through the conference eminent keynote speakers, well-versed technical sessions and Exhibition.

APIS 2023 organizing committee is working hard to make ideal platform for knowledge exchange, learning and networking. We look forward to welcoming you in Jubail Industrial City, the biggest industrial city in the world.

With my sincerest best wishes and warmest regards,
